Viking Cross Necklace

Circa 1000AD, the Scando crowd began the process of converting from Paganism to Christianity, so as to better maintain relationships along the largely Christian trade routes throughout Europe. To ease the transition, the Viking talisman of Thor’s hammer was integrated with the symbol of Christianity to create an acceptable hybrid. Et voilà. The design was first hand formed in wax by JKG (so no other brand has this design). It is quite diminutive as it was initially made as a Christening present.
