Caimán Bandeau

$135.00

“Qué caimán!” is an expression from Latin America meaning “what an alligator!” which is to say “what a con-man, what a swindler,” which I like to think is reminiscent of Michael Caine and Steve Martin in 1988’s Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. “Caimán” is where we get cayman, as in the Cayman Islands. Skinny silk bandeau with a printed red pepper silk moiré back and palm trees, topiaries, alligators, and a seashell chariot drawn by four dachshunds and a potcake on the face.

5×120 cm. 100% Italian silk. Hand-rolled hem.
