Conch Pink! It has arrived! After four years, the right pink was finally found. Version #102 (0f 107) is a triumph. (Please compare to Hydrangea Blue and Racing Green which were each Version #1.) We have upped our thread count to 400, but remain a gorgeous, crisp percale.

These bed linens are a pet project – inspired by the bedrooms of Janie’s childhood, the chintz-meets-Indian-hand-blocking design is distinctly a JKG original. Featuring hydrangea, hollyhock, daylily, Rugosa beach rose, and honeysuckle, you can now bring the garden in, wherever you are. Put your mind at ease while sleeping on these classic sheets, year-round. This conch (“conk”) pink took four years to develop. It isn’t too blue, too hard, too yellow, or too pale. It has the right amount of “punch” so as not to be insipid, but isn’t overpowering. If you would like a fun research project, delve into how the color pink is “invented” by our eyes – it doesn’t have a corresponding wavelength and so our brains essentially fill in the gap of what wavelengths aren’t there. That is why it is such a difficult color to get right – it changes in the light/ambiance/etc more so than any of the other colors!
