CONSTRUCTION
JKG jewels are made one at a time with great reverence to historical architecture. Janie is fond of matte, raw gold which she then polishes at random to effect what she calls “Camo Finish” where there are little glints and glimmers rather than a flat, uniform high shine. Funky stones, unusual settings, and highly textured items abound.

I love your work, I love your approach to people and the feathers we put on ourselves like the little birds we are. I feel jewelry is highly talismanic, not in like a Burning Man kind of way, but like a 6am Ibiza kind of way. I especially feel that men should wear more diamonds especially in the messy, 1970s, Brutalist-meets-Palladio-dare-I-say-Milanese way of JKG.
